Kylie's New Love

Anyone who has been around Kylie knows that she loves Mommy and Daddy, cuddling, lights and our ceiling fans, but today, we discovered a new love... her Bassinet Mobile. Usually when I turn on the mobile (complete with lights and music) she looks for a second, becomes disinterested, and turns her head away but today was completely different. As soon as I turned everything on she was mesmerized and then started silently cracking up (she doesn't make noise yet when she laughs- but I know she's laughing). It was so fun to watch. She loved it!

Exercises with Kylie

Yesterday, Kylie and I were doing our exercises and we started singing and dancing too. Kylie's reaction was so cute! She was having so much fun! We've already got another little dancer in the family. Please ignore the annoying singing and my baby voice... it's embarrassing but Kylie likes it...

So Much Fun With Daddy

Kylie's favorite part of the day is definitely when Daddy comes home. She loves playing with him and we love watching her smile. These pictures are from last night.

Happy Birthday, Kylie!

Our little girl is growing up so fast! She's already ONE MONTH OLD (yesterday)! It really is true what they say... She is growing and learning more and more each day. She is responding more to our voices and can recognize our faces. It's so cute to see the look she gets on her face when Daddy comes home from work. She is definitely Daddy's little girl already.

For her one-month-birthday we went out to celebrate. We had dinner at Olive Garden, where Mommy and Daddy stuffed themselves silly, and then came home to a Happy Birthday Cake for Kylie. I spent most of the day trying to make a little cake, from scratch I might add, while holding a little girl that just wanted to be cuddled all day... but I'm not complaining at all. She is such a little cuddle bug! And all day Miss Kylie was all dressed up in her 'Party Dress.' She was very excited to celebrate with us.

So many pictures...

So, I'm thinking we should change the name of our blog to "All about Kylie with tons and tons of pictures." But that's what our life is now though. Our worlds completely revolve around our little princess now... and we love it.

These are just some fun little pictures that I had on my phone. Isn't she stinking cute?


In the mornings, if Kylie isn't sleeping, I get her ready with this sweet set up just outside the bathroom door so she stays occupied and I can have a minute to shower. She loves looking at high contrast objects, so I make her little pictures to look at while she lays in her bouncer.


I just love the concentration on her face in this one! She liked the zig-zags. Too cute!


Daddy always has the timing right and can get pictures of her with a big grin on her face. She's such a happy girl!


She was looking at herself on the screen on my phone while I was taking this one. I just love the expression on her face.

4 Weeks Old

Yesterday Miss Kylie had her second visit with the Pediatrician. She is a healthy girl, that's for sure. She is up to a nice 10 pounds, 10 ounces. Needless to say, she's eating really well. We still just can't get enough of her.

She is trying more and more to hold her own head up and she's doing really well with it. She loves to be held and cuddled which we are not opposed to at all. She also loves to play a making-faces game with Mommy and Daddy. We hold her close and make a face over and over again and after a while she tries to mimic it or just stares intently. She is the cutest little girl ever. She has also learned to love bath time now that we can bathe her in her little tub instead of the always chilly sponge bath. She also absolutely loves watching our ceiling fans.

Kylie's Blessing

Last Sunday Kylie was blessed in church. It was wonderful! Grandpa Andy, Grandpa Don, Grandma Tracy and Aunt Katie all came out for the blessing and Grandma Sherri and Auntie Jenn were here too. It was so fun to have so much family around. Here are some pictures from the day.
