I want MECCA so bad!!!

When I was pregnant with Kylie I craved a certain greek salad from a certain greek restaurant in Manchester, NH. Now, I'm pregnant with #2 and I am craving mexican food. But not just any mexican, I want the MECCA!!! Anyone who has ever been to the East Bay (CA) knows about this little hole in the wall. I practically grew up on Mecca food and that is all I have been thinking about since I moved away and especially now that I'm pregnant! What I wouldn't give for a been and cheese burrito, the chiquita special, or some of those amazing flour chips... Oh man, I'm drooling... It is seriously the best mexican food on the planet (I know plenty of people that would agree with me on that) and I wish so badly that they could fed-ex just a little bit of heaven my way!

I don't know how I'm going to get through these next 5 1/2 months without a trip back to Cali...

Ever since Kylie got her very own play kitchen for Christmas I think she is convinced that she should be our little helper whenever we are cooking anything in our big person kitchen. She likes to show us how it's done. Whenever one of us are standing at the counter preparing anything, Kylie runs in, shimmys her little body into the space between our legs and the cabinets and insists on being "up." She wants to make sure we are doing everything right, I suppose.
On this particular night she was watching the lasagna for me. What a good little helper!

New for 2010!

The first official pictures of baby brother or sister. We are so excited! It was so surreal sitting in the ultrasound room looking at our baby on the screen while Mike was holding our baby right next to us. The official due date for the forth Kirby family member is July 9th, so we are 15 weeks along and doing great. In just three more weeks we will go back for another ultrasound and find out if it's a boy or a girl. Can't wait!
